MASG Releases New Manufacturing Enterprise Applications Comparison CD
Managing Automation Software Guides (MASG), a leading publisher of comparison and selection guides for software products in the manufacturing marketplace, has announced the release of the 1998 edition of the Manufacturing Enterprise Applications (MEA) Comparison CD-ROM with enhanced features and expanded functions for manufacturing software product selection, MASG is a part of the Managing Automation Group of Thomas Publishing Company, which includes Managing Automation magazine. In addition, Thomas Publishing Company also publishes the Thomas Register, Thomas Regional Buying Guides, and Industrial Equipment News magazine.
The MEA Comparison CD-ROM helps prospective software buyers locate suppliers, build custom specifications, compare systems, create customized requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs), and develop a short list of system suppliers that best match their specific enterprise needs and objectives. Users can also update the database right from the Internet, so they are always working front the latest vendor information.
The CD-ROM contains a comprehensive database with detailed descriptions of over 180 software systems and vendors, along with productivity tools that accelerate the software search and evaluation process. Users can now select from more than 8,500 functional areas to create their ideal system specifications and then generate side-by-side comparisons of software systems that meet their needs. The CDROM also provides users with the ability to seamlessly issue RFPs or RFIs to their short list of suppliers, either in print form or via the Internet.
