Kennedy, Kenney Lead the Way

Blue Devils fans have been used to the offensive fireworks from a combination of Greg Kennedy and Tom Lindal, but in WarrenAEs 34-6 win over Mundelein on Thursday in Gurnee, it was the combination of Kennedy and Pat Kenney.
Lindal only carried the ball four times (13 yards) for Warren (4-0), while Kennedy carried the workload, racking up 204 yards on 21 carries.
"MundeleinAEs defense took away what we do with Tommy," explained Warren Coach Dave Mohapp, "So we had Greg carry the load."
Lindal was still effective. He also had 2 receptions for 70 yards, including a 56 yard TD on a screen pass.
Kennedy had touchdown runs of 2 yards, 72 yards, and 35 yards.
Kenney, a sophomore quarterback, completed 8 of 18 passes for 163 yards and 2 touch downs.
"We are looking to get better in our passing game," Mohapp said of Kenney, who split snaps with junior QB Patrick Oliver. "We wanted to get both guys in for at least three series. …
