THE OCEANS Group doesn't print money - but will print most other things if there is money to be made.

Diversifying its offer, its capabilities now include conventional medium-run litho printing, highly flexible digital printing, printing on acrylics, design, website authoring/construction, and technology sales.

Partly fuelled by acquisition, the Binley company has grown more than 30 per cent over the past year - at a time when many printers have suffered badly in the downturn.

Employing 32 people, it expects to turnover in excess of pounds 2 million this year, and managing director Mel Parnell said: "We are growing in niche markets, identifying opportunities and then providing what those markets want."

The Oceans Group is also a nominee for the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry-sponsored Small Business of the Year Award and the Advantage West Midlands-backed Business Innovation Award, in the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards.

One innovative development is with Coventry City FC in which visitors to the club's www.ccfcgifts.co.uk site can order anything from calendars and mugs to mouse mats - all bearing the club's crest and personalised with the buyer's choice of message/images.
