Aussie Honoured in USA
NEW South Wales guitarist Charley Boyter has been invited to be inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame in Iowa, in the USA.
The invitation came from the National Traditional Country Music Association president who received info on Charley from a Canadian, Michael T Wall, who had done a guest spot on one of the Australian Bush Balladeer (ABBA) shows in Tamworth.
As Charley has commitments in August/September, he and wife Sandra will travel to the USA next year to receive this honour and it will coincide with Michael performing there. It couldn't have happened to a better bloke I say. Any wonder Charley feels apretty honoureda?
