Renewable Energy Group's Move Gives Boost to Midland Office Market
One of the biggest office lettings along the M42 corridor this year has been completed at Studley Point in Warwickshire where over half of the office development has been let to sustainable and renewable energy group ENER-G PLC.
The Redditch-based group of companies - CMR Energy Consultants, ENERG Procurement and ENER-G Metering & Data Solutions - is relocating to Studley Point - leaving just four suites remain ranging in size from 1,566 sq ft to 5,390 sq ft.
Despite the economic downturn, the ENER-G businesses - specialising in energy procurement, energy efficiency, renewable and sustainable energy technologies such as heat pumps, and local combined heat and power generation - have experienced substantial growth leading to additional employment in the area.
For employees, managing director Dr Cedric Rodrigues said: "We've made a significant commitment to the Studley Point offices because it provides good quality comfort conditions for the occupiers.
"Equally, it demonstrates ENER-G's capability in energy management with the latest in high efficiency lighting and intelligent, IT based control systems which will reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions substantially. …
