Brilliant Hitman Borg Leads the Street Goal Rampage; South Wales Senior League
BRIDGEND Street, the defending champions, travelled to play last year's division two champions Cadoxton Barry as top played bottom of the league.
Cadoxton Barry were overwhelmed as Bridgend Street went on the goal rampage.
Tony Borg scored a double hat-trick as Bridgend Street won 10-1, with their other scorers being Paul Mace, Robert Fowler, Anthony Burnett and David Mwasigallah with Liam Blackmore scoring a consolation goal for Cadoxton Barry.
Grange Albion maintained second position with a 3-1 win at Llanrumney United.
Llanrumney opened the scoring with Albion equalising almost straight away.
In the second half Grange took the lead, then had a player sent off, however they then added a third goal.
Daniel Nash twice and Matthew Phillips were scorers.
Moving up into third place and with a game in hand are Sully Sports, who hit lowly Garw SGBC for six without reply.
