Ospreys Boss Adds His Weight to the Wales Fitness Testing Furore
SCOTT Johnson has added to the furore between the Wales set-up and the regions over national fitness testing by declaring that it has thrown the Ospreys' plans into disarray.
The Liberty Stadium boss lent his voice on the subject after the war of words on the matter between Wales and the Dragons over Dan Lydiate.
The unhappy Gwent region claimed their star flanker returned from Monday's WRU testing session with a neck problem which ruled him out of last night's Magners League meeting with Connacht.
Johnson (pictured) joined the great debate by saying he has had to change his selection plans for this evening's tough Magners showdown with Leinster because of the Wales testing day.
He has chosen to rest Wales stars Mike Phillips, Alun Wyn Jones, Adam Jones, Andrew Bishop, Paul James and Richard Hibbard from the Dublin showdown, while James Hook and Jonathan Thomas are restricted to spots as replacements.
"The testing has thrown our planning into disarray a bit," said Ospreys director of rugby Johnson.
"We had a plan, but the plan's been thrown away a bit because of our obligations with the WRU's testing, which has affected us. …
