What of Mau Mau victims? I WOnDER whether the Kenyan Government will pay compensation to the families of the victims who were maimed, tortured and killed by the Mau Mau (Mail)? And how about the families of the pregnant women who had their bellies sliced open, their unborn child removed to be mashed up with blood and other items and drunk as part of the Mau Mau initiation ceremony? Or are the people who ran the Mau Mau training camps going to get away with diverting the blame on to someone else -- e.g. the British.
Why do people from overseas who have butchered the British -- and their own -- to get us out of their country, then demand a British passport and come here and get all the handouts they can? LOUIS SHARKIE, Hawarden, Flintshire.
THE news that some Kenyans are bringing an action over the treatment of the Mau Mau in the mid-Fifties makes me very angry. Once again, our legal profession is going into money-grabbing action.
