Businessman in Harassment Denial

A WEALTHY property developer drove along busy city streets with his ex-girlfriend on the bonnet of the car during a sustained campaign of harassment against her, a court heard yesterday.
Mark Harris is accused of driving through the streets of Dundee with Nancy Renwick on the bonnet before he suddenly stopped and caused her to hit another car.
The businessman is also alleged to have taken Miss Renwick's car on another occasion and sped past a safety camera in an attempt to have her prosecuted.
He is further accused of fitting a tracker to the vehicle, targeting his former partner's daughter, and trying to intimidate two policemen investigating his alleged crimes.
Harris, 41, went on trial at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday where he denied the charges.
Miss Renwick's younger daughter Suzanne, 16, told the court that her mother and Harris's relationship had fallen apart in the summer of 2007 after they argued about his affair with another woman.
The following morning, her mother's gold Mini disappeared from their home at Abercorn Road, Dundee.
Miss Renwick said she had moved with her mother from Dundee to Perth after the break-up. …
