God Pulling Our Clegg; Nick's Slur at Gay Wedding Stance

GOD moves in mysterious ways, and none so mysterious as the way he made a monkey out of Nick Clegg.
The Deputy PM's face went red as a baboon's bottom on Tuesday when he was caught branding the Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury "bigots" for opposing same-sex marriage.
The offending word was missing from his speech by the time he delivered it at a Number 10 reception for luvvies. But a text including it was emailed earlier to Westminster media folk by a staffer who must have been auditioning for the BBC comedy The Thick of It.
Sin Atheist Clegg wouldn't know his embarrassment came on a day when the approved Biblical reading for churches was a rant by St Paul in Corinthians on that very topic.
That's why I detect a heavenly sense of humour at work. Or perhaps God just ran out of thunderbolts.
"Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders... will inherit the kingdom of God," thunders Paul.
Some Christians interpret this as a condemnation of gay sex, though it's more likely an attack on promiscuity in general. …
