Happy Smiles Fill Important Void in Valley Dental Care


THE name says it all at Happy Smiles Dental Clinic.

As staff members prepare to celebrate the second anniversary of one of the Clarence Valley's most popular dental practices, it is a timely moment to extend their thanks to the local community for its continual support of the Happy Smiles clinics in Grafton and Yamba.

Since Happy Smiles was established and opened by Dr Santosh Joy and Dr Ajay Coutinho in 2010, both clinics have amassed a phenomenal reputation as offering excellent care and services to local patients by a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to every client who walks through the door.

Dr Joy said the motivation to open Happy Smiles in the Clarence Valley grew after he discovered many patients were travelling out of town, often to Brisbane and Sydney to receive surgical procedures.

Recognising the need in the Clarence Valley to introduce affordable dental treatments to reduce the number of patients travelling further afield for procedures, Happy Smiles was brought to life and Dr Joy has never looked back.

aI was concerned that so many people had to travel out of Grafton to receive treatments and I knew something had to be done to make dental services more affordable and convenient for people,a he said.

aHappy Smiles is a local dental clinic and we aim to provide as many dental treatments as we can in the Clarence Valley.

aEvery fortnight a specialist visits our clinics, so our patients are offered high-level care in their own communities without having to travel.a

Dr Coutinho said the Grafton and Yamba communities have quickly grown to accept Happy Smiles into their lives and their hearts.

After two years, patient numbers are still increasing and the glowing recommendations for Dr Coutinho and his staff members continue to spread throughout and beyond the Clarence Valley region.

aWe have good teams in both clinics,a Dr Coutinho said.
