Byline: EXCLUSIVE by Susie Boniface

TELLY toff Lord Grantham has his loyal manservant Carson to keep him Downton 'appy by pandering to his every whim.

And now the world's first servants' jobs website shows the snooty lifestyle is still alive and well... as long as you've got very deep pockets.

Called greenbaizedoor.com - after the sound-insulated threshold between upstairs and downstairs - the site is run by ex-Buckingham Palace underbutler Martin Higgins and British Embassy footman Kevin Johnson.

As well as their job ads for maids, chauffeurs and butlers - like the one played by veteran actor Jim Carter, 64, in the hit ITV1 drama Downton Abbey - the duo have also posted advice for wannabes and employers.

On how to resign gracefully, they suggest: "A touch of sentimentality will not go amiss, but do not go into detail about negative factors." While tips for bosses include: "Be kind and firm, but never become too familiar."
