WOOD DALE -- Power Solutions International Inc. and Capacity of Texas Inc. announced a collaboration to bring natural gas engines to the medium-duty truck market. The alternatively-fueled PSI 8.8-liter engine will be used in Capacity's TJ5000 tractor, which is designed for warehouse and distribution applications. The two companies exhibited this option in the Capacity booth at the 2013 Mid-America Trucking Show, an annual forum for the heavy-duty trucking industry held this week in Louisville, Ky. "Capacity is a terminal truck design leader because we listen to our customers," said Phillip Ford, president of Capacity of Texas. "This collaboration with PSI helps us to continue pushing the cargo industry forward by offering cost-effective, alternative-fuel products that meet the demands of today's market."

Peers approve Wolf & Company

OAKBROOK TERRACE -- Wolf & Company LLP announced it has successfully completed a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice. The review concluded that the firm's system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice in effect for 2012 has been suitably designed and complied with to provide reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects. Wolf & Company LLP participates in the Peer Review Program, a practice-monitoring program approved by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the national professional organization of CPAs. A firm participating in the Peer Review Program must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years. The review was conducted under the auspices of the Illinois CPA Society following standards issued by the AICPA.

Sears Hometown adds to board

HOFFMAN ESTATES -- Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores elected James F. Gooch to its board of directors and as chair of the board's audit committee. Gooch had served as president and chief executive officer of RadioShack Corp. and prior to that as its chief financial officer.
