Fun for All the Family; BT TV's Fantastic Entertainment Package Now Brings You Sport, Latest Box Office Films, Music on Demand, Freeview Channels and One of the Biggest Catch Up Services on YouView

Byline: Ian Sturgess

Last year, BT revolutionised the viewing of Premiership football when they launched their dedicated sports channels to great success. And now BT is expanding its entertainment services to provide a wonderful range of content for the whole family.

Sign up for BT TV and you'll get a YouView box, which is worth PS199. The basic package allows access to thousands of shows, wonderful HD movies and music on demand. The YouView box provides you with up to 70 Freeview TV and radio channels, as well as BT Sport if you have BT Infinity, and gives you the ability to pause and record any channel, with a vast amount of catch-up content.

Also available on certain BT TV packages, your service can then be bolstered with additional TV, kids and film packs, or access to film and TV box sets (such as Dexter and Broadchurch). You can also add Sky Movies On Demand. The benefit of these is that they are flexible so you can add in a month at a time so you're not tied in to a high monthly subscription.

But that's not all. Thanks to BT's partnership with Curzon Home Cinema, you can take advantage of their Home Cinema service which enables you to watch feature films on the same day they are released in the cinema, along with exclusive curated seasons and filmmaker retrospectives

Feature films you can rent via BT in January include Formula One thriller Rush and the Jamie Foxx drama White House Down, as well as Star Trek Into Darkness, Iron Man 3 and Wreck It Ralph (left).

ART HOUSE AT HOME

BT viewers will now be able to watch some of the very best in World and Independent cinema, as well as having the chance to rent a selection of films on TV on the same day they're released in cinemas, as part of an exclusive deal with Curzon Home Cinema. …
