BROADWAY COMING TO BAKER

The Baker County High School Drama Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary with performances of "Broadway in Baker." The troupe will be performing at the high school's auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Feb. 20-22 with special Sunday shows at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 and 23. Admission is $5 at the door.

Tracy Drake, Clay County assistant property appraiser, has been appointed to serve on the International Association of Assessing Officers' Professional Designation Subcommittee. The nonprofit educational association focuses on property appraisal, property tax policy and administration through professional development.

Moosehaven retirement community in Orange Park received a five-star rating from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the third quarter of 2013. That rating is given to the top 10 percent of facilities nationwide.

NEW VETERANS CRESTS

Beaches Veterans Memorial Park Inc. President Clarence Hill has unveiled the new veterans organizational crest recognizing the six military services that participated in World War II and the chaplains regimental crest honoring 340 chaplains killed in combat. In 2010 the six Beaches veterans organizations combined to develop park land provided by the city of Atlantic Beach for a Veterans Memorial Park.
