location: 26 Millwell Rd, Maroochydore

features: Three-bedroom house

agent: Scott McCallum and Jason Mills of Ray White Maroochydore

time: On site today at 10am

NOT only will Jason Mills have his lucky Richmond Tigers socks in play today, his vendors of 26 Millwell Rd, Maroochydore, will be cheering him on.

They are also supporters and just recently found themselves sitting rows apart in the grandstand as they watched their beloved team, Richmond Tigers.

But considering the response to promotion of this home, Jason won't need too much superstitious backing. Within the first fortnight of the auction campaign, several offers to purchase prior were taken to the sellers. And still the buyers come.

"This will be a cracker of an auction," Jason said of the property marketed alongside colleague Scott McCallum, also of Ray White Maroochydore.

"The home is well presented and many have looked at the marketing and thought, yes, that looks appealing.

"Nice and close to everything without being on top of it all, the home last changed hands about seven years ago. They've now found something else.

"The main selling points are that it does have character, is close to everything and makes for a good family home, especially with the park next door.

"Constructed of double brick with cathedral timber ceilings, the home is lighter than you might expect."

Taking into account the strong sporting connection behind the process, Jason likened this campaign to a marriage made in heaven.

Lucky socks or not, auctioneer Dan Sowden will blow the whistle and ask for kick off to the bidding of 26 Millwell Rd on site today at 10am.
