WE'RE feeling pounds 50 richer this week thanks to a familiar-looking horse racing gambling system. Called The Racing Consortium and based at a mail drop in Docklands, East London, it claims to offer a new approach to betting.
Its letter promises: "We would bet pounds 50 that you have been offered all types of well-meaning horse racing tips, schemes and syndicates in the past, but you have never been given the chance to join a racehorse gambling system such as this one."
Actually, we have. We recently exposed an outfit called The Racing Connection. Its letter began: "We would bet pounds 50 that you have been offered all types of horse racing tips, schemes and syndicates in the past, but you have never been given the chance to join a racehorse gambling system such as this one."
We heard from many angry punters who paid for useless tips from The Racing Connection, run by Wayne Montgomery of Wood End, Atherstone, Warwickshire. …
