SHE'S the short arm of the law - a mini crusader dedicated to fighting crime.
And if you're a bad guy, a dodgy driver, or even an Aberdeen fan, you'd better beware. Megan McIntyre could be swinging her handcuffs in your direction.
Megan is only seven years old, but she already has her heart set on becoming a police officer.
And to give her a taste of her future career, Strathclyde Police yesterday fixed it for Megan to become a "constable" for the day.
After being sworn in at the police training school in Glasgow, Megan was issued with a regulation force jersey and hat.
From then on, it was action stations. After a training session at the gym, Megan got an emergency call to the mounted branch to feed the horses.
She then spent time with the force's dog handlers and visited the control room.
Then it was on to the beat, where the pint-sized plod explained her stance on law enforcement. She said: "I want to get bad people and lock them up in a cell. I might bash them on the head if they hit my arm. …
