Choirs, Orchestras Join for Holiday Music Fest

What better way to start out a holiday concert than with the song, "O Come All Ye Faithful"?
This was the song that kicked off Libertyville High School's annual Holiday Music Festival, held Dec. 7.
The show was made up of three choirs, the holiday orchestra and a few ensembles.
The choirs were the Choralaires, which is made up of freshmen; the treble choir, which is girls-only; and the concert choir, Libertyville High School's highest choir.
The holiday orchestra is a combination of musicians from the various orchestras at Libertyville High School who choose to perform in the holiday music festival.
The ensembles that performed were the master singers, the women's group, the men's group and even a quartet of teachers from Libertyville High School.
Because the show featured the choirs and orchestra, there were two conductors. Carol Ramsey was the conductor for the choir, and Jeremy Moreno was the conductor for the orchestra. …
