Religion-Science Tension Needs to Be Discussed

If there is one subject on which our nation, states and communities need to have (a dialogue), it is on the topic of religious faith and science.
It is inconceivable that our culture has been unable to manage and dissolve the supposed conflict over the origins of life and the age of our world. It concerns me greatly that people are forcibly limiting their viewpoints when there is opportunity in the knowledge that the human race can understand where we came from, and why.
As much as human history and religion have done to help us form our governments and establish the rightful concept of equality among people, there
is hard proof of our equality and the need for cooperation in what we share in our common biology, genetic and evolutionary traits.
I truly believe that the religions of the world should encourage their members to pursue education in all its forms, but particularly in the area of science. …
