The director of a Glen Ellyn counseling center has been indicted on charges he falsely billed Medicaid for nearly $300,000, prosecutors announced Thursday.
Larry E. Rasmussen and the Glenside Counseling Center which he directs were indicted by a DuPage County grand jury on charges of theft and vendor fraud.
The fraud allegedly had gone on for more than a year, from May of 1996 until June of this year. A doctor who worked at the center blew the whistle, prosecutors said.
