Brittany Homes Offers Preconstruction Sales

Brittany Homes & Developments, Inc. has begun sales for its newest community, Brittany Hills, a neighborhood of 165 single-family homes in northwest suburban Algonquin.

A sales center now is open and preconstruction pricing is in effect, allowing buyers to save thousands of dollars by purchasing before models are complete. Current base prices range from $183,900 to $277,900.

Brittany Homes is offering both contemporary ranches and traditional two-story designs at Brittany Hills. These homes have 1,900 to more than 3,100 square feet of living space with three to five bedrooms and at least 2 1/2 baths.

A total of 13 floor plans, including several new designs, are available. The new plans are the Victoria, Santa Anna, Barrington, Berkley, and Georgetown. The remaining designs are adaptations of Executive Series homes offered at Brittany's existing communities, including the Cambridge, Geneva and Jori Ann models.

And to extend the space even further, several floor plans feature "family living zones," where the family room, breakfast area and kitchen all open to each other.

"Kitchens themselves often end up as the center of activity, whether it's the family sitting down for dinner or a neighbor coming over to enjoy a cup of coffee," said Ballard. "As a result, most homeowners want their kitchens to not only be functional, but attractive as well."

To accomplish both, Brittany makes sure all Brittany Hills kitchens have upscale touches such as 42-inch solid oak cabinetry with crowns and decorator countertops in a wide range of colors and textures. Yet the rooms have efficient work triangle layouts and standard features such as self-cleaning gas ovens and ranges with microwaves, too. …
