Joshua Consulting Goes on a Hi-Tech Desert Mission; Business Westgate - EMIRATES: Dubai Turns to Ruth Field for an Alternative to the Oil Industry

CALL centre expert Ruth Field has packed her bags at the request of the ruler of Dubai and returned to the oilrich Emirates just two weeks after taking part in a trade mission to the country.

Cardiff Bay-based Ruth Field, managing director of Joshua Consulting Group has already notched up a series of impressive business achievements in only nine months of trading.

Now she is returning to the male-dominated culture at the special invitation of the management of Dubai Internet City, owned by the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Ms Field, who lives in Abergavenny, said, "Following a trade mission to Dubai in early January, I was asked to return to present detailed proposals for the establishment of a series of hi-tech contact centre operations. Tony Aggarwal, principal consultant for Stratagem and representing Wales Trade International, organisers of the Dubai trade mission said, "The Emirates has developed a highly customer-focussed economy, but the services offered by Ruth's company are entirely new to that market.

"Joshua Consulting Group looks set to become the catalyst for the establishment of Dubai as a worldwide centre of excellence for the call centre industry."

Joshua Consulting Group was formed in May 2001 by respected telebusiness and contact centre consultant and trainer Ruth Field.

Offering a range of bespoke training and telebusiness development consultancy services, the company operates UK-wide from its headquarters in Cardiff Bay. …
