Cash for Lucky Lottery Winners; MONEY GOES TO SPORT AND HISTORY GROUPS, BEEKEEPERS AND SAMBA DRUMMERS

GROUPS across the Leamington and Stratford area are celebrating lottery grants for community projects.
The largest grant is a pounds 5,000 award to set up a Brazilian soccer school for youngsters and adults in the Stratford area, called Futebol De Salao.
The grant will pay for training equipment, football kit, coaching fees, administration costs and general running costs.
Leamington's history will be archived by the Leamington Elders Action Project (LEAP) which is receiving pounds 4,971 for equipment to create a digital record.
The group's secretary, Tom Holloway, said: "It aims to create a multi- media archive on a CD, to be called Leaming-ton Memories.
"This will consist of reminiscences of elderly and retired Leaming-ton citizens and will be a collection of old photo-graphs, film and video clips and voices from the past."
Chairman Ernie Thompson said: "We aim to make it a true record of the past half century, representing all parts of our multi-cultural community. …
