WITH the Premiership title, the Golden Boot, and an FA Cup winners medal in the bag, Arsenal fans already have Thierry Henry down as Superman.
But Henry insists he only really gets that superhuman feeling when he wears a France shirt.
Henry believes the world champions will succ-essfully defend their title for one simple reason . . . they are even better than the heroes of 1998. He believes teams like England, Argentina, Italy, and Germany pose a threat but says they simply can't live with the class of the French.
"When you put on the shirt of France, it is like a new skin. I become Superman," he claimed.
"With all due respect to the team of 1998 we have a lot more possibilities now.
"With the quality of strikers, we have much more variation in our attacking play. I don't think our style of play has changed. We are a positive team that always goes forward but it just seems easier.
"With players like Zidane, Petit, Wiltord and Trezeguet, it is easy for me to finish off their good work."
Henry admits the French now face the added pressure of expectation, but it doesn't faze him.
He said "I can deal with it. That's the way it is when you play at this level, all you think about is wanting to perform and try to put the ball in the back of the net. …
