ING Barings - Graduate Training Programme
Graduate training at ING Barings takes place in Amsterdam and lasts for 3 months, starting in September.
Twenty graduates are being recruited in the London office in 2002. Of these, between 2 and 4 will go into IT, between 6 and 8 will go into corporate finance and 6 will go into financial markets.
Which subjects are covered by the basic training?
Basic training covers economics, financial maths, accounting, financial analysis and financial modeling.
What kind of specialist training is offered for each division?
Trainees in corporate and institutional finance will be instructed in: foreign exchange, equities, bonds, derivatives, debt capital markets, the deal logic behind M&A, corporate restructuring and lending.
Trainees in sales and trading and operations will be instructed in: equity trading, foreign exchange, settlements, equity valuation, derivatives, project management, law, sales skills, portfolio management, and bonds.
Are there opportunities to learn additional languages?
