PhotoPlus Expo Announces Schedule, Seminar Program. (Show News)
NEW YORK -- Photo District News (PDN), a publication for professional photographers, will host its annual PhotoPlus Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. More than 200 exhibitors will showcase the latest in photography technology at the show.
World-renowned photographers and experts will participate in more than 100 seminars and workshops with a focus on cutting-edge innovations in digital photography products and techniques. Exhibitors include Epson, Hewlett Packard, Olympus, Kodak, Sony, Nikon, Canon, Calumet, Hasselblad, Mamiya, FujiFilm, Adobe and Polaroid. New products, photography innovations and digital technology will be featured.
Expo highlights include the first-ever U.S. showing of new photographic products introduced at this fall's Photokina in Cologne, Germany. Seminars will feature world-famous photographers Joe McNally, Rodney Smith, Lynn Goldsmith, Eugene Richards, James Balog, Jay Maisel, Joyce Tenneson, Lauren Greenfield, Denis Reggie and others. Although imaging technology is a primary focus in the education program, subjects such as lighting, portraiture, stock photography, business, traditional black-and-white photography and hand coloring will also be covered in more than 100 seminars. …
