ANGER AT HAIDER'S INVITE TO TRINITY DEBATE; Anti-Nazi Groups Plan Picket

TRINITY College has enraged anti-Nazi groups by inviting notorious far right leader Jorg Haider to a student debate.
Haider - who once praised fellow Austrian Adolf Hitler - will speak at the Dublin university tonight.
But the Governor of Carinthia will face angry protests after comments he made supporting Nazi Germany's evil regime.
He even praised SS troops as noble men "who did their duty in the war".
He also claimed the death camps where six million Jews were gassed were "punishment camps".
A Trinity College spokeswoman said: "Jorg Haider will visit the university to speak at a debate of the Philosophical Society.
"He will speak in the GMB building at 7.30pm and will be joined by other guests.
"Former Labour leader Ruairi Quinn will also talk as will Dr Helen Szamuely from the Bruges Group. It is certain to be an interesting debate."
But Ireland's Anti-Nazi League plans to stage a major protest at Trinity's gates before the meeting. …
