Silent Auction

The youth of Calvary Church, 3998 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, will sponsor a silent auction at 6:30 p.m. and an oral auction at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Items to be auctioned include baseball tickets, weekend getaways, teen labor, quilts, and gift certificates. Featured will be food, entertainment and door prizes. Admission is $5. Call 939-4343. There will be a workshop on Children and the Last Supper for those in the first to the fifth grades from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Charles Presbyterian Church, Gamble at Sibley streets, St. Charles. The cost is $2.50. To register, call 946-4467. Church Tour

St. Charles Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1815 Boonslick, St. Charles, will offer a Wednesday night worship service at 7 p.m. from June 1 through Aug. 24. The purpose of the additional service is to offer an alternative for weekend vacationers and for people who live in St. Charles County. Call 947-1821. Friend Day

Tickets are on sale at the United Methodist Church of the Shepherd, 4116 McClay Road, for Methodist Night Out at the Ball Park on June 30. The game starts at 7:35 p.m. The Cardinals will play the Colorado Rockies. Tickets are $10 with $4 of it to be split between Epworth Children's Home and the East St. Louis Boys' Club. Call 441-2434.
