CLUB SELECTS DEBORAH McNEILL AS 1985 YOUNG CAREER WOMAN


Deborah A. McNeill was chosen recently as the 1985 Young Career Woman by the Downtown Business and Professional Women's Club.

McNeill is office manager for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company and has been with the firm since 1976. She is a member of "The Committee," a support group for Ballet Oklahoma and also a member ofPM Entertainers, a Peat Marwick group which performs monthly at hospitals to entertain patients.

Jackie Conner, Human Resource trainer for the club, will be the guest speaker at the April 10 meeting. The meeting will begin at noon and will be held at the Skirvin Plaza Hotel. . .

- Denise Peterson has been chosen as a new outreach librarian for the Metropolitan Library System.

She was a public service librarian at the Midwest City Library. As part of her new duties, Peterson will oversee three extension libraries located in Choctaw, Nicoma Park and the stockyards area ofOklahoma City.

Peterson worked as a library consultant for the Autumn House Congregate Housing. She is a member of the American Library Association, the Oklahoma Library Association and the American Association of University Women. . .

- David Halpern has been named chief photographer for H&H Productions it was recently announced by the firm.

Halpern recently owned and operated Halpern & Associates, a commercial photographic studio specializing in advertising illustration, corporate annual reports and editorial illustration.

Halpern has worked with such firms as Ralston-Purina, Sun Oil/DX, Zebco Division and the Brunswick Division. . .

- Orval O. "Sandy" Saunders, president and general manager of the State Fair of Oklahoma, was recently elected to a one-year term as second vice president of the Midwest Fair Association.

Saunders has the option at the end of his term of moving up to the position of first vice president and one year later, may take the option of bcoming president.

As part of his new duties, Saunders will choose the site for the 1987 meeting of the association. His new position also places him on the Midwest Fair Association executive committee. . .

- Katherine E. Wyatt recently joined Baptist Medical Center as director of communications and will be responsible for the development and organization of the communications department for the medical center and the Oklahoma Health Care Corporation. …
