West Named Executive Director of Cancer Information Line
West most recently served as executive director of Lyric Theater of Oklahoma. She has been involved in numerous community activities including OKC Festival of the Arts, Oklahoma Theater Center, The Arthritis Foundation and Oklahoma County Red Cross Water Safety programs.

- Mead Ferguson, Woodward rancher, and Gwenn Davis, University of Oklahoma associate professor, have been selected to serve three-year terms on the board of trustees of the Oklahoma Foundation for the Humanities.
In addition, current trustees Mary Susan McCarthy, Dean Witter Reynolds, Oklahoma City; Nancy Goodwin, Clinton High School, Clinton; David Baird, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater; and David Miller, Cameron University, Lawton, have been reappointed to serve three-year terms.
Ferguson has been a rancher and active civic leader in Woodward since 1980. Prior that he was with Exxon Corp. in charge of Middle East affairs, headquartered in London.
Davis is an associate professor of English and Women's Studies and is director of the Honors Program at the University of Oklahoma. She is also director of a $50,000 National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant for The Women's Bibliography Project.
The board of trustees of the Foundation is composed of 22 volunteers equally representing the general public and the academic community of Oklahoma. Four members are appointed by the governor of Oklahoma and the other 18 are selected through a statewide, open nominations process.
Ferguson, McCarthy, and Goodwin will serve as general public representatives with Davis, Baird and Miller representing the academic community. . .
