A 'MEET and greet' airport parking firm which boasts of 'no hold- ups or problems' - has been branded a 'tin pot company' by its customers.

Yesterday, the M.E.N. exposed the truth behind some so-called secure parking firms around Manchester Airport, many of which leave cars on pub car parks in Wythenshawe.

The M.E.N. contacted Car Park Manchester for a response.

"We have now shut down bookings."

He added: "Some keys have been misplaced. If a key is lost we get a new one, we give compensation.

"If cars are muddy it's because construction work may be going on on our compound - we do not park in fields.

"We pay for valeting. If there is damage people can send us pictures on emails, and we sort out a quotation.

"We are giving satisfaction to our customers. We have kept on saying sorry to them."

Here are some of the comments on the two sites: 'RECOMMENDED?' A testimonial on the firm's website says: "I have not used this service before as I usually just use park and ride - but it is a great idea and great service, as is your valet - in fact I recommended this to my son at Christmas when returning from holiday. …
