APPOINTED: Andrea Parrett as corporate controller. She brings more than 25 years of accounting and operational experience to the company. She formerly taught accounting and business classes at the University of Dubuque, and held positions as assistant vice president of finance at Heartland Financial, finance director at Stonehill Franciscan Services and division controller at Rite-Hite.

ACHIEVEMENT: Former Public Works director Don Vogt has received the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations 2016 Outstanding Professional Achievement Award. Vogt was recognized for his outstanding service to the Iowa Solid Waste Management Industry for managing the City of Dubuque's collection programs and the Dubuque Metropolitan Solid Waste Agency.

ACHIEVEMENT: Water Department manager Bob Green has received the American Water Works Association- Iowa Section Award for Outstanding Service. The award recognizes members for outstanding service to the association through leadership and participation.

APPOINTED: Katie Dupont as finance specialist at the Pennsylvania Avenue location.

APPOINTED: Rachel Kluck as teller service supervisor at the Hillcrest Road location.

APPOINTED: Jamie Millius as human resources representative at the Pennsylvania Avenue location.

APPOINTED: Abbey Bahl as business lending processor supervisor at the Hillcrest Road location.

ACHIEVEMENT: John Hannan, president and chief executive officer, will retire early next year to "seek other opportunities." He has spent more than 25 years with the Dubuque-headquartered company, beginning his career in 1991. He was named company vice president in 1993, then president in 2002 and CEO in 2004. He also has served on the company's board of directors since 2001.
