The program is intended to help accounting professionals transition into a university teaching position.
The CONQRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS FOUNDATION has received a three-year, $485,000 donation from Chrysler to support personal finance education for students at historically Black colleges and universities. The funds will be used for the foundation's SHOP for Wealth program, a seminar designed to teach students how to manage their personal finances and build wealth.
GANNON UNIVERSITY (Pa.) has received a $4 MILLION state grant to support its new Erie Technology Incubator, which will house high-tech startup companies. The incubator has the potential to produce 10 new companies and 600 new jobs every five years. Over the past four years, Cannon has received $1.1 million in federal, state and local funds for the incubator.
