Marine forecasts for Pacific waters issued by Environment Canada at 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday 10 March 2013 for tonight and Monday. The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 9:30 p.m.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile:

Strait of Georgia - north of Nanaimo: Wind light becoming northwest 15 knots late this evening then diminishing to light early Monday morning. Wind increasing to southeast 15 early Monday afternoon and to southeast 25 Monday evening. Light rain beginning Monday afternoon.

Strait of Georgia - south of Nanaimo: Wind light increasing to southeast 15 knots early Monday afternoon and to southeast 20 Monday evening. Chance of showers late this afternoon and this evening. Light rain beginning Monday evening.

Howe Sound: Wind southerly inflow 10 to 15 knots diminishing to light after midnight. Light rain beginning Monday evening.

Haro Strait: Wind light becoming southerly 5 to 15 knots this evening then becoming light early Monday morning. Wind becoming northerly 10 to 15 Monday afternoon. Light rain beginning Monday evening.

Juan de Fuca Strait - central strait Juan de Fuca Strait - east entrance: Wind west 10 to 15 knots diminishing to light late this evening then becoming east 10 to 15 Monday afternoon. Chance of showers late this afternoon and this evening. Light rain beginning Monday evening.

Juan de Fuca Strait - west entrance: Wind westerly 10 to 15 knots diminishing to light late overnight then becoming east 15 early Monday afternoon. Chance of showers late this afternoon and this evening. Light rain beginning Monday afternoon.

Johnstone Strait Queen Charlotte Strait: Wind northwest 10 to 20 knots diminishing to light late overnight then increasing to southeast 15 late Monday morning. Wind increasing to southeast 20 to 30 Monday afternoon. Light rain beginning Monday afternoon.

West Coast Vancouver Island North: Gale warning in effect. Wind north 10 to 20 knots becoming southeast 15 late Monday morning then increasing to southeast 25 near noon Monday. Wind increasing to southeast 40 Monday afternoon. Light rain beginning early Monday afternoon.

West Coast Vancouver Island South: Wind variable 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast 15 late Monday morning then increasing to southeast 15 to 25 Monday afternoon. Light rain beginning Monday afternoon.
