Bihar: Psychology Students Get Ancient Indian History on Their Marksheets
Motihari, Aug. 13 -- In what could be termed as the bizarre grading system, students of BRA Bihar University (BRABU), who had opted for psychology as one of their subjects for graduation course under the distance education programme, were shocked to see their BA part 1 results.
While marks for psychology are missing on their marksheets, they have been declared 'pass' in ancient Indian history - with scores ranging between 56 and 60 marks in the paper they never appeared.
What is more surprising is the double whammy the hapless students are now facing with the BRABU's directorate of distance education (DDE) refusing to admit them to the BA part2 course due to the "faulty" marksheet.
Manoj Kumar of Motihari, who is among the many victims in East and West Champaran districts, said their fate now hung in the balance due to the sheer negligence of BRABU authorities.
