New E-Commerce Offerings from InfoMation and XENERGY Deliver Energy Management Services

InfoMation Publishing Corporation and XENERGY, Inc. have announced a partnership to deliver knowledge management solutions to the energy markets across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. The agreement centers on Echo, InfoMation's knowledge management application that continually monitors and delivers up-to-date, targeted information to users across the Internet, an intranet, or an extranet. According to the announcement, XENERGY, a leading international energy consulting and information systems company headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, will use its industry expertise to tailor Echo specifically to the energy market (http:/www. xenergy.com).
XENERGY will incorporate Echo into all major areas of its business. Initially, the company will resell Echo to its energy customers, complete with a customized, predefined library of topics of interest to those in the energy industry. In addition, the two companies are currently negotiating an OEM agreement that would enable XENERGY to integrate Echo into several future products within its electronic commerce offerings.
