Since 1995 Carol Choksy has been chief executive officer of IRAD Strategic Consulting, Inc. in Greenwood, IN. Prior to that, she served as Technical Consultant, Pierce Leahy Corporation, King of Prussia, PA; Team Manager, DES Architects+Engineers, Redwood City, CA; Secretarial and WordProcessing Supervisor, Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges, San Francisco; Records Management Consultant/Manager, McDermott, Will & Emery, Chicago; Director of Public Relations, Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly, Chicago; Assistant to the Dean of Students, University of Chicago Law School; Senior Research Assistant, Center for Research in Security Prices, University of Chicago Business School; and Lecturer, University of Chicago.

After serving from 1996 to 1998 as an ICRM grader, Choksy is now serving as a re-grader, Part VI of the CRM examination an appointment reserved for consistent, knowledgeable graders selected to clarify discrepancies in original grading. As President of her Class of '78 college reunion, she doubled annual class donations. She has also served on the Hyde Park Garden Fair Committee.
Choksy holds a Doctorate, Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago. She also studied Japanese at Harold Washington University and Financial Accounting at Golden Gate University.

1. What key strengths or skills do you possess that will make you an effective member of the Board of Directors?
Writing - My work requires a great deal of writing to many different audiences. My business colleagues often ask me to use my own style in reports to clients because they believe I have an effective communicating style. I am also a published writer both in my academic field and in my professional field.
Speaking - I speak publicly in both prepared and extemporaneous situations. Many people say my delivery is energetic and that my enthusiasm is contagious. I have formal training in both drama and speech. One of the ways I refined my professional delivery was through the training sessions I delivered to all the secretaries, paralegals, and attorneys in a single, large law firm, more than 500 persons. I created what amounted to a nightclub act with jokes and funny stories to get across an important, but dry subject matter.
Strategic Planning - My work has been primarily to create strategic plans for corporate records and documents. This has entailed gauging an organizations corporate culture, investigating their records situation as well as their technology and then creating a plan that will carry them into the next decade (century or millennium as the case may be).
