The leader would then take all of this information and carry out an evaluation. A meeting of the entire unit would be held to check the leader's information and point of view against those of his team leaders and men. The mousetrap is an anti-handling device placed on the bottom of a mine that is designed to activate when the mine is lifted out of its hole. It is called a mousetrap because it acts on the same principle and even resembles a conventional mousetrap.
