|•||Lambda scoring has made possible elimination of general reference groups in constructing scales, has permitted direct measurement of homogeneity of a group, improved discriminant validity, and has made male and female normed criterion group scales directly comparable.|
|•||The report form for the KOIS has been modernized to allow inventory takers more independence in understanding and making use of their results.|
|•||Short vocational interest estimates have been developed for socring on the KOIS, aiding in understanding the relative importance of these interests in the inventory taker and in the criterion groups for which the KOIS is scored.|
|•||A new, barely-tested application of the KOIS, Person-Match, has been shown to be feasible and helpful to a segment of the user population.|
