EWAN W. ANDERSON is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and the Centre for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the University of Durham, England, and is Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Politics at York University. He is a consultant to the British Ministry of Defense and the World Court at The Hague. He is also a consultant on aspects of water reserves to several Middle Eastern and African Countries. His recent publications include Strategic Minerals: The Geopolitical Problems for the United States (Praeger, 1988) and The Structure and Dynamics of United States Government Policy- making: The Case of Strategic Minerals (Praeger, 1988).
HENRY S. BERSZINN has been engaged in developing more refined methodologies for identifying and capturing accurate information about specific events. As Director of the Management Review and Corruption Prevention Bureau of New York City's Department of Investigation, he helped shape his unit's strategy in addressing the sources of corruption. As a consultant with executive database developer Strategic Intelligence Systems and Big 8 accounting firm Touche Ross and Company, he refined his overall concept that a successful competitive intelligence approach to marketing requires more than just well-organized secondary information. Presently Vice President of Development at Responsive Selling System (RSS, Inc.), he specializes in tailoring RSS programs to the needs of a variety of industries.
