Use of Assessment Findings: The assessment committee will meet annually with the department chair to examine all assessment data and make recommendations for program improvements. Assessment results and recommendations for program improvements will be reported to the dean and the university assessment director. All graduating seniors will be given their assessment results.
Criteria for Success: Eighty percent of the graduating seniors should respond positively regarding their training and education received at the university. A majority responding to the alumni surveys should report successful employment in a communication-related field or successful entrance into graduate school. Eighty percent of employers and intern sponsors responding to the survey should give a favorable evaluation of the graduate,

|5.||The assessment program should articulate clear statements of intended student outcomes (expected results) that are clearly linked to program goals.|
|6.||The assessment program should describe the procedures to be used to assess these intended outcomes and to show that goals are being met.|
