My second visit to Anna's office. The first time was an unusually quiet day because most of her colleagues were away at meetings. This time it is a typical day, according to Anna. Her office is on the seventeenth floor. It is medium-sized and modern with a large desk and a beautiful view. When Anna is on the telephone, she swivels her chair around and looks out. There are three comfortable chairs with armrests in her office. A large tree makes up the decoration. A computer locked into the company's "nerve center" is on a low cabinet. Walls are bare; a picture of Michael is on another cabinet. It is a very orderly office, everything neatly stacked in racks.
|9:20 A. M.||
Anna and I arrive almost simultaneously. Call is wait-|
ing for her.
Her secretary comes in with urgent messages. (Anna|
has been out of town for a couple of days.) Anna
sorts her mail, arranging it on the desk according to
importance. She starts going through the mail.
|9:50||Incoming business call. Brief. She continues to look at mail.|
|10:01||Secretary comes in with folder.|
|10:04||Anna is back. Calls secretary.|
