G. Stoney Alder is a doctoral candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is pursuing a degree in organizational behavior and human resource management. His research interests include employee performance monitoring, organizational justice, and performance feedback. He has published articles on these topics in Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Applied Communication Research.

Maureen L. Ambrose is an associate professor of management at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her PhD in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and served on the faculty at the University of Iowa prior to her move to the University of Colorado. Her research interests include electronic monitoring, organizational justice, and ethics. She has served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Journal of Applied Psychology. Her work has been published in numerous journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, and the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Russell Cropanzano is an associate professor of industrial/organizational psychology at Colorado State University. He received his PhD in I/O psychology from Purdue University in 1988. Cropanzano serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Psychology. He has published more than
