This pattern was also seen in our 1991 survey of 2,012 Protestant Americans and in Hoge, Johnson, and Luiden's (Chapter 4) survey of Presbyterian baby boomers.

A dendrogram is a graphic, resembling an organizational chart, that allows visual identification of clusters and their degree of separation from other clusters.
