Each approach has its justification depending on the didactic conception of the course, and each type of adaptable learning environment can be created with the help of TWINS. Thus, it is possible to fully consider the specific didactic needs of the respective learning group and its objectives.
The use of TWINS was studied in the scope of an introductory course 'WinWord' for students of all faculties of the University of Koblenz-Landau. The learning objectives were divided into nine instructional units, which were
