(ORDINANCE NO. 8, PROMULGATIED ON MAY 21ST, 1922)
Article 1. In the administration of registration matters, a District Court or an office of a district magistrate exercising concurrent judicial functions shall set up a registration department; provided that when a registration department is to be set up by the latter, sanction shall be obtained from the Ministry of Justice on a petition by the High Court.
Article 2. A District Court or Magistrate's Office may, according to the local conditions, after sanction having been obtained from the Ministry of Justice on a petition by the High Court, set up a registration department in the police office or the office for local self-government.
Article 3. A registration department or a branch department shall, in administering registration matters, act in the name of the president of the District Court or the district magistrate.
