THE STATE OF VIRGINIA
ONLY a limited number of reproductions of the Houdon statue of Washington can be cast in bronze and delivered for dedication during the bicentennial year, 1932. A reservation, therefore, should be requested of us by those sponsoring the placing of a copy of this statue. Preference will be given in the order in which these reservations are received.
The permission and approval of His Excellency, the Governor of Virginia, must be obtained before a casting of this statue can be made. We will be pleased to request his formal approval upon receipt of the necessary information from you. The letter on the following page will be found convenient to use in addressing us.
