Most books are meant to be read. Yes, You Can! was written to be used.
We hope you will find the advisements too valuable to look at only once before placing the book on your bookshelf. We hope you'll use them repeatedly to get better results throughout your life.
Here is how we suggest you do this:
First: Enjoy the book.
Have fun checking out some of the great quotes. Skim through the pages at random; look for bits of advice you can use immediately. Read the entire book through if you're a "cover-to-cover" reader. Share it with your friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
Second: Find the advice you need.
Shop through the table of contents for the advisements that are most likely to offer the skill-building suggestions of greatest value to you. Highlight the titles of the advisements on which you'll focus. Then dig into the advice they contain. Circle the bullets in front of the three or four suggestions that make the most sense to you. As you study these items, take notes in the white space of the facing page. Jot down any insights that will help you when you begin to apply the recommendations.
