Remembering that July 15 is YOUR DAY and being happy that on one of these three proposed days you and I shall have a fine talk about good things, I dare to dream--that the day selected by you would be YOUR DAY; and how many lovely, lively memories are associated with this good day!
Notify Ludmila Ivanovna and Musoryanin, dearest généralissime, about which of the three days you choose, and as soon as you can.

Dear little dove of mine, Ludmila Ivanovna, Musinka asks you to count on him as yours and the Petrovs' for July 28 (Wednesday). This gray-haired young man, so spoiled by you, little dove, is all this while____________________
